Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Model For A Large Work (Version C) by Kenneth Armitage was auctioned at Christies in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,614.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Armitage achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Striding Figures (Version 2) in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 218,750.00 (€ 247,224.78).
