However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kees van Bohemen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Red Painting, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 50,400.00.

Die Arbeit Dutch Seipner von Kees van Bohemen kam im März 2010 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 21.150,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Kees van Bohemen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Red Painting beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 50.400,00 versteigert wurde.
