Auction result well in line with expectations

The work A figure resting in a wooded river valley in Gretna by Keeley Halswelle was sold in the The Arthur Ackermann and Peter Johnson Collection: A Connoisseur's Choice auction at Christies in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 795.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keeley Halswelle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Play Scene in Hamlet Hamlet: He poisons him i' the garden for his estate. His name's Gonzago: this story is extant, and written in very choice Italian: you shall see anon, how the murder gets the love of Gonzago's wife. Ophelia: The king rises H in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 116,650.00 (€ 17

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Play Scene in Hamlet Hamlet: He poisons him i' the garden for his estate. His name's Gonzago: this story is extant, and written in very choice Italian: you shall see anon, how the murder gets the love of Gonzago's wife. Ophelia: The king rises H im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 116.650,00 (€ 170.305,32).
