Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of AUD 11,750.00 (€ 7,088.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kathleen Letitia O'Connor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life with flowers, which sold at auction in May 2001 for AUD 43,475.00 (€ 26,059.29).
