The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,155.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Katherine Sophie Dreier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Marcel Duchamp., which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 12,500.00.
