Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Gunnera by Katherine Gili for USD 625.00 (€ 507.51). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katherine Gili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tempracata in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,948.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Gunnera von Katherine Gili für USD 625,00 (€ 507,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katherine Gili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tempracata im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.948,18).
