Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Dutch A View Of A Dutch Town by Kasparus Karsen for EUR 3,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century Paintings at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kasparus Karsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of Katwijk village with the Groot Badhotel in the background in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 45,410.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dutch A View Of A Dutch Town von Kasparus Karsen für EUR 3.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kasparus Karsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view of Katwijk village with the Groot Badhotel in the background im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.410,00.
