Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Karl Sholomovich Fridman could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Frosty Morning In Izmailovo changed hands for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,955.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Karl Sholomovich Fridman have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2017 by the work The Pond At Velegozh at GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,270.55).
