Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Nature morte med tagetes" (Still life with tagetes) by Karl Isakson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 120,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,527.44). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Isakson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nature Morte, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 26,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Nature morte med tagetes" (Still life with tagetes) von Karl Isakson im Oktober 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.527,44) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Karl Isakson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nature Morte beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 26.400,00 versteigert wurde.
