The »bidding war« ended at EUR 700.00 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Karl Heilmayer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ein Hirte mit seiner Herde in der römischen Campagna. in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 3,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Veduta con rovine von Karl Heilmayer wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Important Paintings of the XIX Century | Asian Works of Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 700,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Heilmayer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ein Hirte mit seiner Herde in der römischen Campagna. im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.250,00.
