Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paesaggio by Karl Heilmayer was auctioned at Il Ponte in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 550.00 – 600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 500.00. Admittedly, works by Karl Heilmayer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ein Hirte mit seiner Herde in der römischen Campagna. in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 3,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paesaggio von Karl Heilmayer im Oktober 2012 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 550,00 – 600,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Heilmayer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ein Hirte mit seiner Herde in der römischen Campagna. im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.250,00.
