Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Bukowski in Helsinki held the auction Spring Classic Sale, Helsinki F167, which included the work Ship Motif. by Karl Geftler. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,100.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Geftler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of the Prachechny bridge with the Summer Garden and the Summer Palace beyond in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,398.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Bukowski in Helsinki die Auktion Spring Classic Sale, Helsinki F167 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ship Motif. von Karl Geftler zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.100,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Geftler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of the Prachechny bridge with the Summer Garden and the Summer Palace beyond im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.398,73).
