A top price for Karl Cartier - as previously expected
The work Cattle and a goat grazing in a meadow by Karl Cartier was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2002. The price achieved of GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,304.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cattle and a goat grazing in a meadow is the most expensive artwork by Karl Cartier that we have observed at auctions so far.
