Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work "Inför festen" by Karin Broos for SEK 180,000.00 (€ 18,482.14). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 200,000.00 – 250,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karin Broos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Den röda soffan 2' ('The red sofa'), which sold at auction in October this year for SEK 500,000.00 (€ 42,344.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Inför festen" von Karin Broos für SEK 180.000,00 (€ 18.482,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 200.000,00 – 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Karin Broos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Den röda soffan 2' ('The red sofa') beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für SEK 500.000,00 (€ 42.344,81) versteigert wurde.
