Despite a disappointment, a good price for Kari Huhtamo
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Metal Relief. by Kari Huhtamo for EUR 1,800.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern + Contemporary, Helsinki F160 at Bukowski in Helsinki and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Metal Relief. is the most expensive artwork by Kari Huhtamo that we have observed at auction so far.
