It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 83,556.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Karel van Vogelaer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2010 the work Tulips, roses, peonies, irises and other flower in an ornamental urn, with a pair of doves was auctioned for GBP 73,250.00 (€ 88,074.87).
