Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Parrot tulips, roses, an imperial lily, morning glory and other flowers in a sculpted vase with a rabbit, by an upturned capital in a landscape by Karel van Vogelaer was sold in the Important Old Master Pictures auction at Christies in London in July 2002. The price achieved of GBP 21,510.00 (€ 34,309.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karel van Vogelaer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tulips, roses, peonies, irises and other flower in an ornamental urn, with a pair of doves, which sold at auction in July 2010 for GBP 73,250.00 (€ 88,074.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Parrot tulips, roses, an imperial lily, morning glory and other flowers in a sculpted vase with a rabbit, by an upturned capital in a landscape von Karel van Vogelaer wurde im Juli 2002 in der Auktion Important Old Master Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.510,00 (€ 34.309,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Karel van Vogelaer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tulips, roses, peonies, irises and other flower in an ornamental urn, with a pair of doves beobachtet, die im Juli 2010 für GBP 73.250,00 (€ 88.074,87) versteigert wurde.
