A top price for Kano Toun Masunobu
In March 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Birds and flowers of spring and summer by Kano Toun Masunobu. The »bidding war« ended at USD 52,500.00 (€ 39,373.03), 31% above the upper estimate. With this result, Birds and flowers of spring and summer is even the most expensive work of art by Kano Toun Masunobu that we have observed at auctions so far.
