A top price for Kambiz Sabri - as previously expected
The work X series by Kambiz Sabri was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in April 2011. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,747.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, X series is the most expensive artwork by Kambiz Sabri that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit X series von Kambiz Sabri kam im April 2011 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.747,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist X series das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kambiz Sabri, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
