Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of The Actress, Mrs E. Bark; Seated Girl Wearing Mantilla; Dancer Resting by Kalman Kemeny was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in June 2005. It changed hands for a price of GBP 780.00 (€ 1,156.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Kalman Kemeny have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St John'S Wood in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,979.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of The Actress, Mrs E. Bark; Seated Girl Wearing Mantilla; Dancer Resting von Kalman Kemeny wurde im Juni 2005 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.156,01) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kalman Kemeny auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St John'S Wood im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.979,73).
