Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mixed Red Flowers With Green Apples; Pink And White Roses; Another Study of Pink And White Roses; Pink Roses by Kalman Kemeny was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in June 2005. The price achieved of GBP 540.00 (€ 800.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Kalman Kemeny have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St John'S Wood in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,979.73).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 540,00 (€ 800,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kalman Kemeny auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St John'S Wood im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.979,73).
