Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction AFRICA Theme Sale, which included the work Fleshly by Kainebi Osahenye. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,105.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Kainebi Osahenye have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Isolation was auctioned for GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,204.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion AFRICA Theme Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fleshly von Kainebi Osahenye zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.105,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kainebi Osahenye konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Isolation für GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.204,04) versteigert.
