Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Ohne Titel by K.L. Schmaltz was auctioned at VAN HAM in June 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had set an estimate of EUR 800.00, but failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 714.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by K.L. Schmaltz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ohne Titel (Plastische Komposition)., which sold at auction in November 2021 for EUR 1,848.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Ohne Titel von K.L. Schmaltz im Juni 2015 bei VAN HAM versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit EUR 800,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung jedoch nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 714,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von K.L. Schmaltz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Plastische Komposition). beobachtet, die im November 2021 für EUR 1.848,00 versteigert wurde.
