This artwork by Krishna Hawlaji Ara achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in December 2018. In the South Asian Art Online Sale auction, the work Still Life With Fruit sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,837.19) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Krishna Hawlaji Ara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 240,000.00 (€ 197,709.86).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Krishna Hawlaji Ara erzielte im Dezember 2018 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion South Asian Art Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Still Life With Fruit für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.837,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Krishna Hawlaji Ara erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 240.000,00 (€ 197.709,86).
