Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online, which included the work Untitled (JS 32) by Jyoti Swaroop. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,175.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Jyoti Swaroop have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July last year the work Untitled (Inner Jungle Series) was auctioned for GBP 2,550.00 (€ 3,045.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (JS 32) von Jyoti Swaroop zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.175,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jyoti Swaroop konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli letzten Jahres die Arbeit Untitled (Inner Jungle Series) für GBP 2.550,00 (€ 3.045,15) versteigert.
