The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,338.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Justus Juncker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Der Alchimist in May 2017 with an auction result of EUR 21,080.00.

Die Arbeit A scholar in his studio von Justus Juncker kam im Juni 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.338,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
