The »bidding war« ended at SEK 34,000.00 (€ 3,237.24), 36% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jussi Mäntynen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lynx, which sold at auction in June 2012 for SEK 110,000.00 (€ 12,556.05).

Die Arbeit "Lon vädrar fara" (=The Lynx vent danger) von Jussi Mäntynen wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 34.000,00 (€ 3.237,24) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jussi Mäntynen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lynx beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für SEK 110.000,00 (€ 12.556,05) versteigert wurde.
