Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of SEK 24,100.00 (€ 2,603.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jussi Mäntynen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lynx in June 2012 with an auction result of SEK 110,000.00 (€ 12,556.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Lon vädrar fara" (=The Lynx vent danger) von Jussi Mäntynen kam im Juni 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 24.100,00 (€ 2.603,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jussi Mäntynen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lynx im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 110.000,00 (€ 12.556,05).
