Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract Composition by Jun Dobashi was sold in the Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund auction at Christies in New York in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,435.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jun Dobashi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October last year the work Composition Du Village was auctioned for EUR 1,968.00.

Die Arbeit Abstract Composition von Jun Dobashi wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.435,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
