Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Etalon by Julius von Blaas was sold in the Tableaux 1400-1900 auction at Christies in Paris in September 2016. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julius von Blaas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Hunting Party With Emperor Franz Josef And Sissi in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 33,850.00.

Die Arbeit Etalon von Julius von Blaas wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion Tableaux 1400-1900 bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julius von Blaas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Hunting Party With Emperor Franz Josef And Sissi im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 33.850,00.
