A top price for Julius Exner - as previously expected
In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction European Art: Paintings & Sculpture, which included the work The Artist'S Model by Julius Exner. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,143.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Artist'S Model is the most expensive artwork by Julius Exner that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion European Art: Paintings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Artist'S Model von Julius Exner zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.143,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Artist'S Model das teuerste Kunstwerk von Julius Exner, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
