Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Julio Vila y Prades could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Spanish two Flower Still Lifes: A Pair changed hands for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,450.27) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julio Vila y Prades - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Recogida De La Naranja (Picking Oranges), which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,670.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julio Vila y Prades konnte im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Spanish two Flower Still Lifes: A Pair für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.450,27) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Julio Vila y Prades mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Recogida De La Naranja (Picking Oranges) beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.670,16) versteigert wurde.
