In the 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction, the work La salud sold for GBP 63,150.00 (€ 100,491.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julio Romero de Torres achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fuensanta in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 826,900.00 (€ 1,157,873.93).
