It achieved a price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,411.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Admittedly, works by Julien Dupré have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Au retour de la moisson in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 265,100.00 (€ 215,879.48).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.411,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julien Dupré auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Au retour de la moisson im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.100,00 (€ 215.879,48).
