This artwork by Julien Dupré achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2020. In the British and European Art auction, the work Dans un Pâturage sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,719.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julien Dupré have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Au retour de la moisson in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 265,100.00 (€ 215,879.48).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Julien Dupré erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit Dans un Pâturage für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.719,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julien Dupré auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Au retour de la moisson im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.100,00 (€ 215.879,48).
