The work La moisson by Julien Dupré was sold in the European Art: Part II auction at Christies in New York in October 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 60,000.00 (€ 52,947.41), 71% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Julien Dupré have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Au retour de la moisson in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 265,100.00 (€ 215,879.48).

Die Arbeit La moisson von Julien Dupré wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion European Art: Part II bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 52.947,41) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julien Dupré auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Au retour de la moisson im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.100,00 (€ 215.879,48).
