This artwork by Julian Trevelyan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September 2020. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Mérindol, France sold for GBP 3,562.50 (€ 3,928.24) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Trevelyan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Durham Wharf in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 46,250.00 (€ 54,570.45).

In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Mérindol, France für GBP 3.562,50 (€ 3.928,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julian Trevelyan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Durham Wharf im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 46.250,00 (€ 54.570,45).
