It achieved a price of USD 5,040.00 (€ 3,945.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Admittedly, works by Julian Lethbridge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 28,409.09).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Julian Lethbridge kam im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 3.945,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julian Lethbridge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 28.409,09).
