In the The Fred and Elinor Wrobel CollectionThe Artist's Eye auction, the work (Dredging Sydney Harbour), Off Garden Island sold for AUD 4,305.00 (€ 2,568.94) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julian Howard Ashton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Middle Harbour, Sydney, which sold at auction in September 2010 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,674.55).
