In December 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Comacchio; And Monastery Near Todi by Julian Barrow for GBP 625.00 (€ 849.27). This price was achieved in the auction Turin London Corfu The Collection of Giorgio Marsan and Umberta Nasi at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Barrow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Santa Maria Della Salute, Venice in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,523.41).
