Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Move This Way, That Way, This Way by Julia Chiang was sold in the Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 69,300.00 (€ 8,378.87), 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julia Chiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Never Get Stuck, which sold at auction in March this year for USD 33,020.00 (€ 30,371.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Move This Way, That Way, This Way von Julia Chiang wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 8.378,87) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Julia Chiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Never Get Stuck beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für USD 33.020,00 (€ 30.371,60) versteigert wurde.
