Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "På arenan" by Jules Schyl was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 28,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 19,000.00 (€ 2,038.94). Admittedly, works by Jules Schyl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape from Siena, Italy in April 2014 with an auction result of SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,865.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "På arenan" von Jules Schyl im Oktober 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 28.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 19.000,00 (€ 2.038,94) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jules Schyl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape from Siena, Italy im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.865,18).
