Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Longhorn cattle watering on the Campagna by Jules Didier for GBP 475.00 (€ 534.69). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Didier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Départ Pour La Chasse in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,309.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Longhorn cattle watering on the Campagna von Jules Didier für GBP 475,00 (€ 534,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Didier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Départ Pour La Chasse im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.309,82).
