A top price for Jules Didier - as previously expected
The work Départ Pour La Chasse by Jules Didier was sold in the Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,309.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Départ Pour La Chasse is the most expensive artwork by Jules Didier that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Départ Pour La Chasse von Jules Didier wurde im Januar 2016 in der Auktion Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.309,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Départ Pour La Chasse das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jules Didier, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
