Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work “Le rappel”, “Auvergne” and “La bodiniere” by Jules Chéret was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Chéret achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pierrot And Columbine in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit “Le rappel”, “Auvergne” and “La bodiniere” von Jules Chéret im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 2.200,00 (€ 295,13) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Chéret erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pierrot And Columbine im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
