Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jürgen Teller could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Kirsten Owen changed hands for GBP 938.00 (€ 1,068.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jürgen Teller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paradis XVIII. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 20,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jürgen Teller konnte im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Kirsten Owen für GBP 938,00 (€ 1.068,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jürgen Teller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paradis XVIII. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.640,00.
