Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Playground, Brixton by Jürgen Schadeberg for GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,205.71). This price was achieved in the auction British. Cool. at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jürgen Schadeberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nelson Mandela In His Cell On Robben Island (Revisit), 1994Silver Print, Selenium Toned, Printed 2007. Signed, Titled And Dated In The Lower Margin And With The Photographer'S Copyright Blindstamp In The Right Margin. Signed By Nelson Mandela In The Image, which sold at auction in November 2011 for EUR 6,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Playground, Brixton von Jürgen Schadeberg für GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.205,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British. Cool. bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
