Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hungarian /Frenchguano by Judit Reigl was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The price achieved of GBP 115,000.00 (€ 138,037.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Judit Reigl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eclatement, which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 411,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hungarian /Frenchguano von Judit Reigl kam im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 115.000,00 (€ 138.037,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Judit Reigl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eclatement beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für EUR 411.000,00 versteigert wurde.
