Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2016 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain / Contemporary Art, which included the work Eclatement by Judit Reigl. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 223,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Judit Reigl have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2016 the work Eclatement was auctioned for EUR 411,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain / Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eclatement von Judit Reigl zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 223.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Judit Reigl konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2016 die Arbeit Eclatement für EUR 411.000,00 versteigert.
