In December 2021 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work Plums in a basket and cherries in a dish with other fruit and vegetables on a table; and Apples in a basket and cherries in a dish with other fruit and vegetables on a table by Juan van der Hamen y León. The price achieved of GBP 742,500.00 (€ 885,646.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600,000.00 – 800,000.00.
